Mr.
Smith is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Freedom Group LLC.
Prior to founding The Freedom Group, Mr. Smith served
in various capacities at Arthur Andersen, Price Waterhouse and other
publicly traded companies.
Mr. Smith brings a combination of
operational and financial experience to the operating holding company and
his previous experience includes roles related to interim management,
restructurings, operational improvement and providing financial advisory
services to companies, bank groups, and other constituent groups involved in
restructurings, turnarounds and bankruptcies.
Mr. Smith received a Masters in Business
Administration from Loyola University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science
in Operations Management from Northern
Illinois
University.
Mr. Smith is a member of the Young Presidents
Organization.

Mr. Carroll is the Chief Operating Officer of The
Freedom Group LLC.
Prior to
joining The Freedom Group, Mr. Carroll served in various capacities at
AlixPartners, DSC Logistics, Ernst & Young and The Bank of New York.
Mr. Carroll’s corporate roles have included Chief Financial Officer,
Chief Operating Officer and Corporate Treasurer positions in companies
ranging in size from a start-up to $1.7 billion in revenue.
In addition, Mr. Carroll has held both officer and advisory roles in
companies experiencing various levels of financial and operational
transition.
Mr. Carroll received
a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the
University of
Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial
Engineering from the
United
States
Naval Academy.
Mr. Carroll is a Certified Public Accountant.

Mr. Drake is the Vice President of Accounting and
Administration of The Freedom Group LLC. Mr. Drake is a senior
accounting professional with a broad-based career in strategic and
operational financial management with companies such as McDaniel Fire
Systems (a current operating company of The Freedom Group), Carlisle
Companies, Inc., Nucor Corp., and Geo. S. Olive & Co. At The Freedom
Group, Mr. Drake leads the Shared Services Group which provides accounting
and administrative services to The Freedom Group operating companies.
Mr. Drake received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from
Purdue
University. Mr.
Drake is a Certified Public Accountant.
Investment Principal
Sean McGould
Mr. McGould is the President and Chief Investment
Officer of Lighthouse Investment Partners LLC.
Lighthouse Partners is an investment management company dedicated to
managing funds of hedge funds and manages in excess of $8 billion across a
worldwide client base that includes corporations, university endowments,
public and private foundations, pension plans, family offices, insurance
companies and individual investors.
Mr. McGould is an Executive Director of HFA Holdings (ASX:HFA).
Mr. McGould received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Butler
University.
Mr. McGould has passed the Certified Public Accountant exam.
